Day Two: Burkle North America Greensboro Technology Center Open House

April 19, 2018 at 5:30 PM

We started off the second day of our Open House with the same good sized number of attendees and the same interest and presentations as Day One. Approximately 30 attendees enjoyed the informative day and the German atmosphere.

The morning presentations began with a presentation named, UV LED Light Curing for Liquid Coating, by Bernd Eichler of Uviterno AG. Another morning  presentation was provided by Barry Carson of Xybix who discussed his company’s selection and implementation process of  Burkle’s BTF 3D lamination system. Xybix began in 1991 manufacturing wood desk products that can be raised, or lowered depending upon the operators comfort. Now Xybix employs 80 people and enjoys a thriving growing business.

Olaf Rohrbeck reiterated Burkle’s strategy going forward and success over the past few years. Rohrbeck again emphasized Burkle’s commitment to the North American Market and the visible investment made in the Greensboro Technology Center.

Equipment demonstrations followed the conference room presentation.

Burkle team members from the USA and Germany offices were hosts for this event.
