August 2016: Burkle N.A. the North American subsidiary of Robert Bürkle GmbH will now be the sole distributor for the entire line of Bürkle’s woodworking machinery. To support this effort, Mark Joel recently joined the Burkle North America team as Regional Sales Manager.

November 2015: On display at productronica 2015, Schmoll Maschinen was demonstrating their economical, expandable MDI line. A new direct imaging concept that transfers UV light images to the PCB substrate using high resolution micromirror chips, the MDI Series offers an efficient, precision German-made, flexible solution for resist and solder mask applications.

Dec 2013: At the recent Bürkle North America Board of Directors meeting held in Freudenstadt, Germany current CEO and company founder, Richard (Dick) Crowe, announced his pending retirement effective December 31, 2013.
March 2012: Dave Ryder, President of Prototron Circuits of Redmond, Washington and Tucson, Arizona announced today that his company has acquired a Schmoll Maschinen Drill Machine MX 2-24 for their Tucson, Arizona facility.
November 2016: Bürkle GmbH and Otto Künnecke GmbH announced jointly that they have entered into a transfer of manufacturing of the Bürkle Card Body Fabrication line (which includes card blanking (punch), tape laying and collation equipment) from Bürkle to Otto Künnecke.
May 2016: Ruhlamat, a leader in Cavity Milling and Chip Module Implanting Equipment introduces their new PowerCombi DI (Dual Interface) production system. The new in-line production system has significant features for Card Fabricators.

October 2014: Dave Howard, Vice President and Business Unit Manager for Burkle North America’s Plastic Card Business Unit, announced today that Perfect Plastic Printing of St. Charles IL has placed an order for their second SmartLam card lamination system.
January 2016: The German Equipment Supplier, Bürkle, has received an order for 2 Multi-Opening Lamination Lines Ypsator® 2022-6 SL from EMMVEE Photovoltaic Power India. This sales is Bürkle’s first sell of Multi-Opening Laminator in India.
January 2016: Recent budget legislation passed by Congress surprised many with the renewal of the tax incentives for Solar Power. What was to be a tumultuous, very busy year for Solar Manufacturers in 2016 and then a sharp drop in 2017 will stabilize production and lead to more efficient operations.
